Wholesome New York Cowboy and the Hoboken Biergarten Present Hoboken Hoedown. Break out the boots and the bolos and come ready for two steppin’ and brew sippin’. It'll be a boot-scootin' time with resident band Nolan Lunsford and His Turnstyle Troubadors featuring a guest band monthly. This time around we welcome Wilson and Walsh to the Hoedown.
Founded and fronted by singer-guitarist Sean Walsh of Brooklyns, The National Reserve, Wilson and Walsh is a male/female duo of sad song country music. They will be opening for the Duane Betts band this summer.
The New Jersey-born Walsh began his musical journey amongst in New Brunswick.
Nolan Lunsfords songwriting aims to get at the heart of the matter, bypassing country cliches for a more specific story. Pushing the lyrical form of country music while still holding onto many of its hallmark sounds; crying pedal steel, bluegrass harmonies and big cowboy chord acoustic guitars.
Nolan Lunsford and his Turnstile Troubadours making their debut as the Hoboken Hoedown 5 piece house band turning out country classics and honky tonk originals.
