**Advanced Trip - Red Hook - 11 miles round trip**
We'll paddle by lady liberty, cross the harbor, and land in Brooklyn! Lots of delicious food to eat and play mini golf for free.
**PREREQUISITES TO RSVP**:
1. volunteered **AT LEAST** 2 shifts in 2024 during our public kayaking days
AND 2\. completed 2 trainings with our boathouse in 2024
AND 3\. Competed 1 intermediate or 2 novice trips in 2024 which you felt were easy for you
AND 4\. Completed our 1 mile\, 7\-turn time trial in less than 16 min 30 seconds
AND 5\. show full control of your craft\, can launch and land independently and completed kayak/sup level 2
**Craft**:
* Sit on top - nope * Sea Kayak - only if completed 6+ mile round trip in 2024 * SUP - only if completed 6+ mile round trip in 2024 * Surfski - only if completed 6+ mile round trip in 2024 * Have Ke Aloha Coach contact host to make sure you are qualified to use small boats and a Ke Aloha supporting member

8:00 AM - meet at the boathouse, get equipment ready 8:20 AM - safety briefing **(if you miss the start of the safety briefing because you are late, you will not be able to join trip)** 8:45 AM - move boats to beach 9:00 AM - depart boathouse 11:30 AM - arrive at Tubby Hook or switch last minute to Columbia if we are ahead of schedule by a lot.
We'll have 90 hours to relax and eat and another hour to crash Inwood Canoe's end of the year party.
2:00 PM - meet meet back to beach, prepare equipment, and safety briefing 2:15 PM - depart 4:45 PM - arrive at boathouse 5:00 PM - clean and put away equipment 5:30 PM - trip ends
