  • Learn about Yakuzen (薬膳) - medicine meals, nutritional benefit of authentic vegan meal and mindful-eating for mental and physical wellness

Michiko Tomioka, MBA, RDN, CDN, IFNCP, is a Japanese native registered dietitian and cooking instructor. Her experiences include nutritional and education at a recovery center, long-term care, WIC, NYC public school, Foodbank for NYC, while sharing plant-based cooking and mindfulness in diverse communities. She is actively practicing a chado “way of tea” in Kyoto and NYC. She has lived in Demarest for over 25 years with her family and two lovely pets, shibainu, Genki, and cat, Happy.
