Evolution Dopen Mic 8/17 ( Featuring Demi Tha Vibe)

Leo season takes over Evolution Dopen Mic with our Media Manager and Birthday girl, Demi Tha Vibe as our featured poet for Saturday August 17th.

The Ohio native felt like family the moment we first met her and long before she joined the team. Now the one who set off the Griot Gala’s showcase will present more of her onstage.

As always, a 10-slot open mic list is available upon entry to the venue for poets, singers, emcees, dancers, comedians, musicians, storytellers and more to sign up and showcase their artistry.

The event will be hosted by Sean Battle, with sounds by The IZM. and refreshments by Treasure’s Golden Confections.

$10 advanced tickets available until Friday August 16th,11:59PM, or until sellout. Afterwards, admission is $20 at the door.

Evolution Dopen Mic is the flagship show of EvoluCulture Ventures, and the 2nd longest running active open mic event in Newark, NJ. It is held monthly at Cryout Cave (601 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Newark, NJ, 07102).
