Amy Dahm Huh
October 27, 2pm
Growing up as the daughter of a concert violinist, Amy Dahm Huh always wanted, but was never allowed, to play the viola. All that changed when she arrived at college and, in an act of teenage rebellion, switched instruments without her mother’s permission. That act of defiance led Amy to become a world traveling featured soloist and chamber musician who has performed at some of the finest music venues on the planet including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Beijing’s Forbidden City Concert Hall, and the Auditorio de Zaragoza. Join her as she shares her love of Eastern and Western classical music and challenges the audience to reevaluate their opinion of the most misunderstood (and maligned) instrument of the orchestra – the viola.
Registration is required. Priority will go to Paramus Residents. Registration begins on October 7. For more information or any questions email Adultservices@paramus.bccls.org .
