A former local is returning to the area from India! Namrata Jain is a children's books author in India. She grew up in Cresskill and graduated from Columbia University. She says our local libraries feel like home to her. Her latest set of books - the Namaste series was written for young children, but is a great introduction to the values of her culture for any age.
