*"The Storm Water Collaborative* ([www.njstormwatermatters.com)](https://njstormwatermatters.com./ "https://njstormwatermatters.com.") *has 20 members throughout NJ . It started with the Passaic River Basin and now covers all of NJ. We report on solutions to the issues of stormwater management and flooding. We have investigated solutions for Paterson, Newark, Camden, Morristown, Pennington, Denville, Hackensack and several towns along the Whippany River, the Caldwells, Fairfield, and the towns around Lake Hopatcong."*

Leaders of the collective will speak with us as we explore the trails. At the end of our hike, we will gather at the Millburn Library (or local cafe, TBD) for discussion and complimentary refreshments.
You might ask, "Why is this an important environmental issue?" You may remember what happened during Hurricane Ida a few years back. Devastation. Total neighborhoods and businesses were flooded out and more....
Join us to learn about these issues.
