Mount Tammany and Sunfish Pond Loop / 10+ Miles / 2200ft EG
Mount Tammany and Sunfish Pond Loop route is an incredible way to experience the stunning landscapes of the Delaware Water Gap in New Jersey. This hike combines two iconic spots: Mount Tammany's summit with panoramic views over the Delaware River and the serene Sunfish Pond, a glacial lake. The climb to Mount Tammany's summit is steep and includes rocky scrambles.

* We’ll start by taking the Red Dot Trail up to the summit of Mount Tammany, where we’ll enjoy stunning views.
* After descending, we’ll connect to the Dunnfield Creek Trail and loop to Sunfish Pond, where we’ll break for lunch by the lake. Blue Dot.
* The return loop will bring us down via the Appalachian Trail (AT), passing scenic forest views back to the trailhead.

Length: 10+ miles
Difficulty: Challenging. Some sections are very steep and rocky.
Elevation Gain: 2,200+ feet.
Pace: Moderate \~2.0-2.20 mph
