This event is in two parts. You may choose to do both or only one part. First we will meet at The Newark Museum of Art, 49 Washington Street, Newark, NJ. Parking is available next to the museum for a $10 fee, with entrances located on Washington Street and Central Avenue. Payment is through Pay by App or text to pay. Museum admission fee is $10 for general admission and $8 for senior citizens 65 years and older. Free admission is available to Newark residents and museum members. We can opt for either a guided or self guided tour. On January 25, the museum is hosting a lunar celebration. More info will follow . Part 2 - Come join us for dinner at The Yard. African American entrepreneur, Kai Campbell is the owner of The Yard Restaurant in Newark, NJ @ Military Park. The Yard is a casual restaurant serving comfort food inspired by the African diaspora. Menu prices range between $10 - $20.
