Come hang with like-minded people who love WFMU and libraries. All kinds of fun and games planned, with DJ Trouble as your host. Join us at Monty Hall on April 10th, during National Library week, to meet and greet with fellow bibliophiles. We are all in the gutter, but some of us are listening to WFMU!

Jersey Collective
Jersey Collective started as an Instagram account in March 2014 but has grown to be much more. For about a decade, we hosted guests for weekly takeovers on our collaborative Instagram account. We’ve had hundreds of people participate from all over the state, each with different things to show us, backgrounds, life experiences, levels of comfort calling themselves a “photographer.” Everyone who has taken over the account has shown us something different, but when considered together, every post from every week has created a collective vision of the state that we’ve built together. Somatic Utopic Imagining
Somatic Utopic-Imagining explores how pedagogies exercised in creative spaces as art practices can create healing environments for communities who experience systemic harm. A pedagogy developed by Laila Islam and Reva Rutherford, Utopic-Imagining is a practice where one imagines, designs, and creates alter-realities that better serve Black and Brown communities.
