NJ Symphony Next Gen happy hour

The New Jersey Symphony Next Gen program is a free membership discount program where young adults between the ages of 21 and 40 can experience the best in arts and culture through the power of live symphonic music.

Connect with fellow music enthusiasts and chat about music, trivia, the best kinds of snacks, existential crises—was Beethoven really deaf when he wrote his Ninth Symphony?—at a happy hour at Newark Local Beer. Includes snacks and an opportunity to meet some New Jersey Symphony musicians. Get your first drink FREE(!) with a concert ticket for that evening's performance.

About the concert after:

With special ticket pricing of $35, begin your night with Tchaikovsky’s Polonaise from Eugene Onegin, the opener to the third act of his most famous opera and a concert hall staple. The first half closes with Billy Childs’ Diaspora, where he relays the experience of Black America using three poems by Black poets as guideposts. To cap off the night, take in the sheer volcanic power of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. “Brotherhood! Joy!”—our world needs these inspring calls now more than ever.
