On 03/15/2023, at 1708 hours, a victim contacted headquarters to report his vehicle had been stolen. The victim had parked the vehicle on the 200 block of Bergen Street just about five hours prior. The vehicle was located and recovered by the Newark P.D. in the City of Newark.
On 03/15/2023, at 1840 hours, units were dispatched to the 200 block of Bergen Street on a report of a motor vehicle theft. The victim stated that he parked his vehicle on 3/11/2023 at approximately 1400 hrs. The vehicle was entered as a stolen vehicle.
On 03/16/2023, at 1956 hrs., an officer was dispatched to the 400 block of Harrison Avenue on a report of a motor vehicle theft. The victim stated that he parked his vehicle at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and 5th Street, with the engine running, while he ran into a local store. When he came out of the store , the vehicle was gone. The victim was entered as a stolen vehicle.
