Kearny residents turned out for the annual National Night Out Against Crime, a lively gathering on Belgrove Drive near the Veterans Memorial Field. The event, spearheaded by the Community Policing Unit of the Kearny Police Department, is part of a nationwide initiative to build relationships between the community and law enforcement and prevent crime and violence. It was a great opportunity for neighbors to get to know each other and build stronger community ties.
A big thank-you to everyone who helped make this year’s event a success, including the Kearny Police Department, the Kearny Fire Department, and all of the local businesses and organizations that participated. We hope to see you all next year!
