On September 22nd, 2023, a female victim walked into the Guttenberg Police Department to report that she was the victim of a home invasion. The victim was able to provide video surveillance footage from inside of her apartment, showing a male walking through her apartment and taking various belongings, valued over $3,500.00. The victim also informed us that during the home invasion, both she and her daughter were asleep in a locked bedroom. Immediately, Officers of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division and Detectives of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau responded to the area of 68th Street and Hudson Avenue to continue the investigation.
