Secaucus Police Blotter 09/18/2023-09/24/2023

On 09/18/2023 at 1:49 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Royal Motel located at 650 Route 3 West to investigate a theft incident that was reported to the police on 09/17/2023. During the investigation, the police arrested a 60 year old male, Michele Fuccilli of Hoboken, NJ along with a 32 year old female, Jessica Reyes of Fairview, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Crack Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Ms. Reyes was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $3,000.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Fuccilli was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. Ms. Reyes was unable to post bail for the involved warrant. Ms. Reyes was issued her complaint summons and she was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 09/19/2023 at 12:03 AM, Secaucus Police observed a bicycle traveling without any lamp or reflector of any color on the rear. The Bicycle was stopped by the police in the area of Secaucus Road and Enterprise Avenue. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37-year-old male, Jeffrey Jordan of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $2,000.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Jordan was unable to post bail for the involved warrant. Mr. Jordan was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and officers from the Jersey City Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to take custody of Mr. Jordan for transport back to their authority.

On 09/19/2023 at 6:02 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Sam’s Club located at 300 Park Plaza Drive on a report of an individual threatening another person with a knife. During the investigation, the police arrested a 41-year-old male, Jose Mendez-Figueroa of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Officers from the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to take custody of Mr. Mendez-Figueroa for transport back to their authority.

On 09/19/2023 at 9:01 PM, Officers from the NJ Transit Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road to transfer custody of a 33-year-old male, Joe Johnson of New York, NY for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the total amount of $2,000.00. Mr. Johnson was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 09/20/2023 at 10:28 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 25-year-old male, Engers Gomezsusana of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of South Hackensack, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Gomezsusana was unable to post bail for the involved warrant. Officers from the South Hackensack Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Gomezsusana for transport back to their authority.

On 09/21/2023 at 8:23 AM, incident to a motor vehicle stop in the area of 777 Secaucus Rd, Secaucus Police arrested a 27-year-old male, Kewan Eley of Irvington, NJ for producing a False Insurance Card [2C:21-2.3]. Mr. Eley was also issued several motor vehicle summonses including for Driving While Suspended [39:3-40], and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 09/22/2023 at 10:10 AM, Secaucus Police Units were dispatched to TD Bank located at 1262 Paterson Plank Rd. on a report of suspicious activity involving a possible Theft by Deception. After an on-scene investigation, Secaucus Police arrested 28-year-old male, John Cochrane of East Orange, NJ for Credit Card Theft [2C:21-6C(1)], Criminal Attempt [2C:5-1A(3)] and Conspiracy to Commit [2C:5-2A(1)] Theft by Deception [2C:20-4C], Money Laundering [2C:21-25B(2)(A)], and Possession of CDS [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Cochrane was processed and subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.

On 09/23/2023 at 10:20 AM, incident to a motor vehicle stop in the area of 35 Enterprise Ave, Secaucus Police arrested 49-year-old male Paul Snellings Sr. of Clifton, NJ, and 33-year-old male Paul Snellings Jr. of Bogota, NJ, for outstanding warrants. Snellings Sr. was able to post his own bail. He was issued several motor vehicle summonses, including one for Driving While Suspended [39:3-40], and was subsequently released from custody. The Passaic County Sheriff’s Office responded and took custody of Snellings Jr.
