Secaucus Police Blotter 10/02/2023-10/08/2023

On 10/02/2023 at 7:28 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit, the police responded to Jersey City, NJ and arrested a 40-year-old male, Morris Galing of Jersey City, NJ for Conspiracy to commit Distribution of CDS believed to Methamphetamine [2C:5-2A(1)]. Mr. Galing was issued his complaint summons and was subsequently released from police custody.

On 10/05/2023 at 8:10 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 45-year-old male, Carlos Jimenez Benitez of Jersey City, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A] for being in possession of a stolen motorcycle. Mr. Jimenez Benitez was issued his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On 10/05/2023 at 4:02 PM, Secaucus Police responded to T.J. Maxx located at 3 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 22-year-old male, Ewar Alejos-Garcia of New York, NY along with an 18-year-old male, Angel Ruiz of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. Both Mr. Alejos-Garcia and Mr. Ruiz were issued their complaint summonses and released from police custody.

On 10/05/2023 at 8:14 PM, Secaucus Police responded to T.J. Maxx located at 3 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 36-year-old female, Christina Gonzalez of Jersey City, NJ along with a 58-year-old female, Olga Candelaria of Jersey City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Both Ms. Gonzalez and Ms. Candelaria were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.
