Guttenberg Police Blotter - October 30th, 2023 to November 5th, 2023

1. On November 1st, 2023, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 51-year-old Frank L. Hernandez-Vidal of Guttenberg, NJ, after discovering that he had an active warrant issued by the North Bergen Municipal Court. Mr. Hernandez-Vidal was later transported to the North Bergen Police Department and transferred into their custody.

2. On November 4th, 2023, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 25-year-old Samuel E. Vargas-Perez of Elmhurst, NY, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Vargas-Perez was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Vargas-Perez was issued his summons for traffic violations and released from police custody.

3. On November 5th, 2023, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 44-year-old Yahima Valiente-Bartutis of Lyndhurst, NJ, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Ms. ValienteBartutis was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for her arrest processing. Upon the completion of her arrest processing, Ms. Valiente-Bartutis was issued her summons for traffic violations and released from police custody.

4. On November 5th, 2023, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 36-year-old Salvador Mozalfaro of Guttenberg, NJ, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Mozalfaro was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Mozalfaro was issued his summons for traffic violations and released from police custody.

The charges above are merely accusations. Every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
