1. On November 16th, 2023, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 27-year-old Luis E.
Pajaro of Guttenberg, NJ, after he entered police headquarters and it was found he had an active warrant. During his
arrest processing, Mr. Pajaro posted the full bail amount of $550.00 and was released on his own recognizance, pending
his new court date with the Guttenberg Municipal Court.
2. On November 16th, 2023, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division received a report of a male
shoplifting from Brother’s Grocery, Coffee, and Deli, which is located at 6805 Park Avenue. During the course of the
investigation, officers identified and later arrested 32-year-old Richard D. Anastasi of Waldwick, NJ. Mr. Anastasi was
processed at the Guttenberg Police Department, where he was charged with shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Upon the
completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Anastasi was issued his complaint summons and released from police custody.
3. On November 16th, 2023, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to Benny’s
Liquors, located at 7000 Park Avenue, after receiving a report of a female shoplifter. During the course of their on-scene
investigation, officers arrested 42-year-old Luismy C. Pena-Lugo of West New York, NJ. Ms. Pena-Lugo was then
transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for her arrest processing. At police headquarters, during her arrest
processing, Ms. Pena-Lugo damaged and removed a toilet paper dispenser and soap dispenser from a bathroom, then
threw them at our officers in our processing room. Ms. Pena-Lugo was charged with shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], defiant
trespass [2C:18-3B], criminal mischief [2C:17-3A(1)], aggravated assault on a police officer [2C:12-1B(5)(A)], and
possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose [2C:39-4D]. Upon the completion of her arrest processing, Ms. PenaLugo was issued her complaint warrant and lodged in the Hudson County Correctional Center.
4. On November 17th, 2023, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol
Division arrested 27-year-old Jihad A. Shabazz of Jersey City, NJ, after discovering that he had two active warrants. The
Guttenberg Municipal Court issued one warrant, and the second by the Hoboken Municipal Court. Mr. Shabazz was then
transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. During his arrest processing, Mr. Shabazz
was able to post bail for the active warrants. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Shabazz was issued his
summonses for traffic violations and then released on his own recognizance, pending his new scheduled court dates.
5. On November 18th, 2023, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol
Division arrested 28-year-old Marvin L. Siticsiquin of Guttenberg, NJ, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr.
Siticsiquin was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of
his arrest processing, Mr. Siticsiquin was issued his traffic summonses and released from police custody.
6. On November 18th, 2023, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol
Division arrested 45-year-old Danys A. Nunez-Mora of New York, NY, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. NunezMora was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his
arrest processing, Mr. Nunez-Mora was issued his traffic summonses and released from police custody.
7. On November 18th, 2023, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol
Division arrested 37-year-old Jason A. Victoria of Guttenberg, NJ, after discovering that he had an active warrant issued
by the Guttenberg Municipal Court. Mr. Victoria was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his
arrest processing. At police headquarters, Mr. Victoria posted the full bail amount of $550.00. Upon the completion of
his arrest processing, Mr. Victoria was released on his own recognizance, pending his new court date with the
Guttenberg Municipal Court.
