Guttenberg Police Blotter - November 27th, 2023 to December 3rd, 2023

1. On November 27th, 2023, the Guttenberg Police Department was contacted by the Cliffside Park Police Department, informing our agency that they had a male in custody with an active warrant issued by the Guttenberg Municipal Court. Members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to Cliffside Park Police Department’s headquarters, where they arrested 50-year-old Fredrick Salerno of Guttenberg, NJ. Mr. Salerno was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Mr. Salerno was unable to post bail in the amount of $750.00. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Salerno was lodged in the Hudson County Correctional Center.

2. On December 2nd, 2023, the Guttenberg Police Department was contacted by the West New York Police Department, informing our agency that they had a male in their custody with an active warrant issued by the Guttenberg Municipal Court. Shortly thereafter, members of the West New York Police Department transported 29-year-old Edward F. Dominguez of West New York, NJ, to our police headquarters for his arrest processing. During his arrest processing, Mr. Dominguez was able to post the full bail amount of $550.00. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Dominguez was released on his own recognizance, pending his next court appearance at the Guttenberg Municipal Court.

3. On December 3rd, 2023, the Guttenberg Police Department was contacted by the West New York Police Department, informing our agency that they had a male in their custody with an active warrant issued by the Guttenberg Municipal Court. Shortly thereafter, members of the West New York Police Department transported 44-year-old Cameron C. Bauer of North Bergen, NJ, to our police headquarters for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Bauer was released on his own recognizance, pending his next court appearance at the Guttenberg Municipal Court.

The charges above are merely accusations. Every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
