Case updates December 13, 2023

On December 2, 2023, Millburn Police Officer Zonn responded to Macys at the Mall at Short Hills for a report of theft. Macys associates reported that Amitayu Jain, age 35, of Livingston, concealed $340.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting. He was later released on his own recognizance.

On December 3, 2023, Millburn Police Officer Matos responded to Nordstrom’s at the Mall at Short Hills for a report of theft. Nordstrom’s associates reported that Andres Sierra, age 22, of Ridgefield Park NJ, concealed $221.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting. He was later released on his own recognizance.

On December 4, 2023, Millburn Police Officer Marone responded to Macys at the Mall at Short Hills for a report of theft. Macys associates reported that Ricardo Watson, age 40, of Brooklyn NY, concealed $331.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting. He was later released on his own recognizance.

On December 6, 2023 Millburn Police Officer Kerwien stopped a pedestrian on Hobart Ave for not utilizing the sidewalk, in violation of state statue. A record check of the subject was completed. Nasi Warren, age 24, of Orange NJ had an active warrant out of Orange NJ. He was arrested and later transported Orange Police Department.

On December 7, 2023 Millburn Officer Palmer responded the Short Hills Mall on a report a parking dispute. The driver of the orange SUV threatened the caller and displayed and sparked a taser and then threw it at the caller’s vehicle and fled the area. The Millburn Police located the suspect vehicle and driver. The investigation led to the arrest of Dominque Andrews, age 29, of Irvington NJ. She was charged with terroristic threats and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

On December, 8 2023, Millburn Police Officer Griffin responded to Macys at the Mall at Short Hills for a report of theft. Macys associates reported that Talikah Good, age 44, of Newark, concealed $411.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting. She had an active warrant out of Clifton for Forgery. She was processed and turned over to Clifton Police.

On December 8, 2023, Millburn Police Officer Lyons responded to Nordstrom’s at the Mall at Short Hills for a report of theft. Nordstrom’s associates reported that Twana Peppers, age 24, of Newark NJ, concealed $350.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting. She was later released on his own recognizance.

On December 9, 2023, Millburn Police Officer Manuyag responded to Macys at the Mall at Short Hills for a report of theft. Macys associates reported that David Arias-Villaveal, age 20, of Queens NY concealed $535.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting. He was later released on his own recognizance.

On December 11, 2023, Millburn Police Officer Zonn responded to Nordstrom’s at the Mall at Short Hills for a report of theft. Nordstrom’s associates reported that Dennis Nunez, age 32, of Newark NJ, concealed $378.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting. She was later released on his own recognizance.

On December13, 2023 Millburn Officer Steve Nacim responded to a Randall Drive residence on a report of a burglary. The resident reported that the suspects gaining entry to his garage. The suspects then attempted to steal the vehicle in the garage, but were unsuccessful and fled the scene. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.


These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
