Secaucus Police Blotter 12/11/2023 to 12/17/2023

On 12/11/2023 at 4:01 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 61-year-old male, Gregory Lombardi of Wanaque, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Mr. Lombardi was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 12/11/2023 at 7:06 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 57-year-old female, Ana Rodriguez of Bayonne, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Kearny, NJ in the amount of $300.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $99.00. Ms. Rodriguez was released on her own recognizance in relation to the outstanding warrants that were in the amount of $300.00 and $99.00. Ms. Rodriguez was able to post bail for the outstanding warrant in the amount of $1,000.00. Ms. Rodriguez was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 12/13/2023 at 9:36 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 38-year-old male, Romulo Medina-Sanchez of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Medina-Sanchez was issued 4 motor vehicle summonses. Officers from the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Medina-Sanchez for transport back to their authority.

On 12/13/2023 at 11:02 AM, an individual entered Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The police arrested a 19-year-old male, Joseph Tormey Jr. of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Lyndhurst, NJ with no bail. Officers from the Lyndhurst Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Tormey for transport back to their authority.

On 12/14/2023 at 7:09 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 27-year-old female, Cory Demitro of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Ms. Demitro was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 12/15/2023 at 8:24 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old female, Deedra Stinson of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail along with a 28-year-old female, Selena Richardson for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail. Ms. Richardson was also issued 2 motor vehicle summonses. Both Ms. Stinson and Ms. Richardson were subsequently transported to the Jersey City Police Department.

On 12/15/2023 at 12:37 PM, Secaucus Police responded to T.J. Maxx located at 3 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 52-year-old female, Elvis Martinez of Garfield, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(2)]. Ms. Martinez was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 12/15/2023 at 5:04 PM, Secaucus Police responded to T.J. Maxx located at 3 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 32-year-old male, Saul Garcia of Passaic, NJ for Robbery [2C:15-1A(1)] for using force during the commission of a shoplifting, Possession of an Anti-Shoplifting Device [2C:20-11F] and Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(1)]. Mr. Garcia was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 12/16/2023 at 1:09 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 36-year-old female, Rosalie Richards of Staten Island, NY for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Ms. Richards was issued her motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with 5 additional motor vehicle summonses and she was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 12/17/2023 at 7:44 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 925 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 31-year-old male, Kevin Laberth of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $750.00 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Elizabeth, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Laberth was also charged with Possession of CDS believed to be crack/cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Laberth was issued his complaint warrant along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and he was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 12/17/2023 at 11:05 PM, the police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 25-year-old male, Alain Diez-Francisco of North Bergen, NJ for Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)]. Mr. Diez-Francisco was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
