Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of CESAR IXCOYPEREZ (DOB: 12/05/1988; married; car wash attendant) of Union City, NJ, on charges of aggravated criminal sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Fairview Police Department under the direction of Chief Vincent Bellucci.

On Monday, December 4, 2023, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile that had occurred within Bergen County. An investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Fairview Police Department revealed that CESAR IXCOY-PEREZ sexually assaulted a child in Fairview, NJ on two occasions.

As a result of the investigation, on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, IXCOY-PEREZ was arrested in Paramus, NJ and charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2a(1); and one count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a(1). IXCOY-PEREZ was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ.

Prosecutor Musella states that the charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. He would also like to thank the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office and the Fairview Police Department for their assistance in this investigation.
