Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Clifton Police Chief Thomas Rinaldi
announce that on December 25, 2023, at approximately 6:22 p.m., Randy Rafael Reyes Duran, a
31-year-old male from Passaic, New Jersey was struck by a vehicle while on Route 3 in Clifton.
The victim was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the vehicle that struck the victim
remained on scene.
This investigation is active and ongoing. More information will be released when it becomes
available.
