Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi announce that on September 3, 2023, at approximately 5:37 a.m., Paterson
Police Department received information that a vehicle was parked in the area of Route 19 and
Ward Street with an unidentified male inside. When officers arrived, they found the unidentified
male deceased with a gunshot wound to his head.
This investigation is active and ongoing. More information will be released when it becomes
available.
