Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Clifton Police Department Chief Thomas
Rinaldi announce that at approximately 9:00 p.m. on July 12, 2023, Clifton Police responded to
the area of Van Houten Avenue and Wonham Street in in Clifton, New Jersey on a report of shots
fired. Members of the Clifton Police Department located a potential crime scene, but no victim
was located.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes
available.
