1. On December 28th, 2023, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 60-year-old
Camillo M. Papa of Point Pleasant, NJ, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50] after a motor vehicle accident. Mr. Papa
was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest
processing, Mr. Papa was issued various summons for traffic violations and then released into the custody of a
responsible adult.
2. On December 28th, 2023, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 32-year-old Javier
L. Ramirez of Garfield, NJ, after discovering that he had multiple active warrants for his arrest. Mr. Ramirez was
processed inside the Guttenberg Police Department, where he was able to post full bail for the active warrants. Upon
the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Ramirez was released on his own recognizance, pending his next court
appearances with the Guttenberg and Bloomingdale Municipal Courts.
3. On December 30th, 2023, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division
arrested 35-year-old Jorge L. Loja of Hackensack, NJ, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Loja was then
transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest
processing, Mr. Loja was issued numerous summons for traffic violations and then released into the custody of Palisades
Medical Center staff.
4. On December 30th, 2023, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division
arrested 31-year-old Gerald D. Contreras of North Bergen, NJ, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Contreras was
then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest
processing, Mr. Contreras was issued numerous summons for traffic violations and then released to the custody of
Palisades Medical Center Staff.
5. On December 30th, 2023, during a pro-active/quality of life assignment, members of the Guttenberg Police
Department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau arrested 18-year-old Bryan A. Coria-Degante of Wilkes Barre, PA, after
discovering that he was in possession of an imitation Glock firearm. Mr. Coria-Degante was then transported to the
Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing, where he was charged with the possession of a weapon for an
unlawful purpose – an imitation firearm [2C:39-4E]. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Coria-Degante
was issued his complaint summons and then released from police custody.
6. On December 31st, 2023, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to Benny’s
Liquors (7000 Park Avenue) for an unwanted party. During their on-scene investigation, officers arrested 41-year-old
Anthony Sanchez of Guttenberg, NJ, for defiant trespass [2C:18-3B]. Mr. Sanchez was then transported to the
Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Sanchez was
issued his complaint summons and released from police custody.
7. On December 31st, 2023, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division
arrested 33-year-old Allan Angulo of Belleville, NJ, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Angulo was then
transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Angulo was issued numerous summons for traffic violations and then released to the custody of a
responsible adult.
8. On December 31st, 2023, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division
arrested 23-year-old Xavion L. Miller of Rutherford, NJ, after discovering that he had multiple active warrants for his
arrest. Mr. Miller was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the
completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Miller was issued three (3) summons for traffic violations and then released on
his own recognizance, pending his next court appearances with the Ridgefield, Alpine, Edgewater, and Weehawken
Municipal Courts.
