
Newark – Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé announced today that the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force is investigating the fatal shooting of Nasir Dudley, 20, of Newark.
On January 24, at 6:53 p.m., Newark police responded to a report of a shooting on the 100 block of Irvine Turner Boulevard, Newark. Arriving officers found Dudley at that location suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:43 p.m.
