Hello. This is Mayor Mark Zinna with a Friday news update.

This Saturday night, January 27th, the Elks are hosting a karaoke night from 7 pm to 11 pm. $10 donation includes food, games and fun. Everyone is welcome.

At the Nature Center this Sunday at 11:30 am and 1:00 pm all ages are welcome to come and learn how to identify a maple tree. Discover the history of syrup making, check the tapped tree and boil down sap to make fresh, warm maple syrup, a sweet treat to taste. Register at tenaflynaturecenter.org

Also this Sunday, the Knights of Columbus are hosting their annual basketball free throw contest for boys and girls ages 9-14 in the gym at Mt. Carmel.
