1. On February 14th, 2024, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the area of
68th Street and Adams Street for a reported motor vehicle accident. During their on-scene investigation, officers arrested
28-year-old Mynor L. Chipix-Cux of Guttenberg, NJ, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Chipix-Cuz was then
transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest
processing, Mr. Chipix-Cuz was issued numerous summons for traffic violations and then released to the custody of a
responsible adult.
2. On February 17th, 2024, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the area of 68th
Street and Bergenline Avenue for a reported motor vehicle accident. During their on-scene investigation, officers
arrested 27-year-old Darwin R. Cortez-Deleon of North Bergen, NJ, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. CortezDeleon was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his
arrest processing, Mr. Cortez-Deleon was issued numerous summons for traffic violations and released to the custody of
a responsible adult.
The charges above are merely accusations. Every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven
guilty in a court of law.
