1. On March 15th, 2024, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the area of 68th
Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard East for a report of a verbal dispute. During their on-scene investigation, Officers
arrested 43-year-old Kattia Tan of Secaucus, NJ, after discovering that she had an active warrant issued by the Hudson
County Sheriff’s Office. Ms. Tan was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for her arrest processing.
Upon the completion of her arrest processing, Ms. Tan was transported and lodged into the Hudson County Correctional
Center.
2. On March 17th, 2024, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division
arrested 49-year-old John M. Gonzalez of Lutherville Timoniuk, MD, after discovering that he had an active warrant
issued by the Mount Laurel Municipal Court. Mr. Gonzalez was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department
for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Gonzalez was released on his own
recognizance, pending his next court appearance with the Mount Laurel Municipal Court.
The charges above are merely accusations. Every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven
guilty in a court of law.
