On 03/25/2024 at 12:57 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested an 83-year-old male, Lucio Monti of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Warren, NJ in the amount of $600.00 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Colts Neck, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Monti was released on his own recognizance in relation to the warrant issued out of Colts Neck, NJ. Mr. Monti was able to post bail for the warrant issued out of Warren, NJ, was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 03/26/2024 at 3:56 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the 600 block of 2nd Street on a report of an individual trespassing in the backyard of a residence. During the investigation, with the assistance of K-9 Brix, the police arrested a 51-year-old female, Jatinya Campbell, non-domicile, for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Bucks County Sheriff’s Office with no bail along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Cherry Hill, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Campbell was also charged with Criminal Trespass [2C:18-3A] and Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10]. Ms. Campbell was issued her complaint summons for the Trespassing charge along with her complaint warrant for the charge of Being a Fugitive from Justice and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 03/26/2024 at 10:08 AM, the police were advised of a multiple fraudulent transactions being made under the K & S checking account after one of their bank checks were lost. During the investigation, on 03/27/2024 at 12:08 PM, the Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old female, Tori Beato of Clifton, NJ for Bad Checks [2C:21-5] and Theft by Deception [2C:20-4]. Beato was arrested at Secaucus Municipal Court located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road. Ms. Beato was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Union City did release Ms. Beato on her own recognizance pending a future court date. Ms. Beato was able to post bail for the warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ. Ms. Beato was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 03/28/2024 at 3:18 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 57-year-old male, Abdel Siam of North Bergen, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(5)]. Siam was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 03/28/2024 at 3:49 PM, in relation to a theft of a motor vehicle from the Red Roof Inn parking lot on 01/25/2024, the police responded to the Haledon Police Department and took custody of a 35-year-old male, Matthew Leon of Warwick, NY for Motor Vehicle Theft [2C:20-10.1A], Theft [2C:20-3A] and Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)]. Leon was found to have the following outstanding warrants; 3 outstanding warrants issued out of Paterson, NJ in the amount of $2,000.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Totowa, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Fairlawn, NJ in the amount of $1,458.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Haledon, NJ in the amount of $750.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Vernon, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Leon was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 03/29/2024 at 5:11 PM, Secaucus Police responded to T.J. Maxx located at 21 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 22-year-old male, Kevin Vera-Larrea of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)], along with a 25-year-old female, Evelyn Olloa of Manhattan, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Possession of an Anti-Shoplifting Device [2C:20-11F] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)], a 38-year-old female, Geovanna Larrea of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)], Possession of an Anti-Shoplifting Device [2C:20-11F] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)] and a 17-year-old male of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. Vera-Larrea, Ms. Olloa and Ms. Larrea were issued their complaint summons and were released from police custody. The Juvenile male was issued a juvenile complaint summons and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 03/29/2024 at 5:31 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Kohls located at 3 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 32-year-old male, Saba Giunashvili of Brooklyn, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)]. Giunashvili was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Pascack Joint Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Giunashvili was unable to post bail for the outstanding warrant. Mr. Giunashvili was issued his complaint summons. Officers from the Montvale Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Giunashvili for transport back to their authority.

On 03/29/2024 at 11:02 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Post Place and Centre Avenue on a report of an assault. During the investigation, the police arrested a 35-year-old male, Donald Burks of Arlington, TX for Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(7)]. Burks was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
