On 04/16/2024 at 2:18 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 20 Enterprise Avenue on a report of a suspicious condition involving a tractor trailer. During the investigation, the police arrested a 47-year-old male, Saul Taylor of Owings, MD for Unlawful Possession of a Shotgun [2C:39-5C(1)], Unlawful Possession of a BB Gun Rifle [2C:39-5C(1)], Unlawful Possession of a Handgun [2C:39-5B(1)], Unlawful Possession of a BB Handgun [2C:39-5B(2)], Unlawful Possession of Hollow Point Ammunition [2C:39-3F(1)], Possession of a Prohibited Weapon [2C:39-3E], specifically a retractable Baton, Certain Persons not to have Weapons, specifically a BB Rifle [2C:39-7B(1)], Certain Persons not to have Weapons, specifically Hollow Point Ammunition [2C:39-7A] and Certain Persons not to have Weapons, specifically a Bow and Arrow and Retractable Baton [2C:39-7A]. All of the aforementioned weapons were within the tractor Taylor was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 04/16/2024 at 1:52 PM, Secaucus Police while on patrol in the area of Castle Road and Meadowlands Parkway observed an individual walking with a paintball gun located in his hand. During the investigation, the police arrested a 34-year-old male, Melvin Walker of the Bronx, NY for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, specifically a Paintball Gun [2C:39-5D]. Walker was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 04/17/2024 at 1:35 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Elizabeth Police Department to take into custody a 29-year-old male, Kendjy Philippe of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. The Secaucus Municipal Court did release Mr. Philippe on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody.
On 04/19/2024 at 5:38 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26-year-old male, Eric Panameno of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Wayne, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Wayne did release Mr. Panameno on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Panameno was issued 4 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.
On 04/19/2024 at 5:44 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 34-year-old female, Amanda Krehl of Delanco, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. Ms. Krehl was issued her complaint summons and she was released from police custody.
