Secaucus Police Blotter 04/22/2024 to 04/28/2024

On 04/22/2024 at 11:55 AM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department in relation to a shoplifting incident that occurred on 02/25/2023 at Calvin Klein located at 30 Enterprise Avenue, the police arrested a 44-year-old male, Oscar Mosquera of College Point, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)], Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(1)], Possession of an Anti-Shoplifting Device [2C:20-11F], Eluding [2C:29-2B], Endangering another Person [2C:24-7.1A(3)], Disorderly Conduct [2C:33-2A(2)] and Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(3)(B)]. Mosquera was taken into custody at Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road. Mr. Mosquera was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 04/22/2024 at 12:27 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 34-year-old male, Timur Yusufov of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Brunswick, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 with a 10% option. Yusufov was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 04/23/2024 at 9:55 PM, Secaucus Police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the area of Route 3 West and Meadowlands Parkway. During the investigation, the police arrested a 48-year-old male, Jetur Taylor of Wallington, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $3,500.00 with a 10 % option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Taylor was able to post bail for both warrants and was subsequently released from police custody.

On 04/24/2024 at 11:11 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Macy’s Logistics located at 100 Venture Way. During the investigation, the police arrested a 64-year-old male, Cecil Clarke of East Orange, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A]. Clarke was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 04/24/2024 at 8:38 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 34-year-old female, July Lopez-Cuello of Queens, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)], Conspiracy to commit shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)], Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(3)(A)] and Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A]. Lopez-Cuello was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 04/25/2024 at 9:59 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a theft. During the investigation, the police arrested a 22-year-old male, Brayan Ramirez-Tena of Union City, NJ for Theft of Property Lost/Mislaid [2C:20-6]. Ramirez was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 04/25/2024 at 6:48 PM, Secaucus Police responded to T.J. Maxx located at 3 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 38-year-old female, Sandra Ruiz-Rodriguez of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)], Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3A(7)] for providing false information to police. The police also arrested a 20-year-old female, Alison Pinzon-Acosta of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)], Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)] and Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10]. Ruiz-Rodriguez was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody. Ms. Pinzon-Acosta was issued her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 04/27/2024 at 11:37 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of an individual staying at the Hotel who had an active warrant out of Fairfield, NJ. During the investigation, the police arrested a 25-year-old male, Deyah Shaabneh of Fairfield, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Fairfield, NJ with no bail. Officers from the Fairfield Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Shaabneh for transport back to their authority.

On 04/27/2024 at 2:59 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Kohl’s located at 3 Millcreek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 59-year-old male, George Tivas of Jersey City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5a(2)]. Tivas was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transport to the Hudson County Jail.
