1. On April 16th, 2024, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division
arrested 49-year-old Nurudeen Y. Olajide of North Bergen, NJ, after discovering that he had an active warrant issued by
the North Bergen Municipal Court. Mr. Olajide was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest
processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Olajide was released on his own recognizance, pending his
next court appearance with the North Bergen Municipal Court.
2. On April 18th, 2024, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to a residence on
Hudson Avenue after receiving a report of a blocked driveway. During their on-scene investigation, officers arrested 25-
year-old Evans X. Diaz of Belleville, NJ, after discovering that he had two (2) active warrants issued by the Hudson
County Sheriff’s Office and Weehawken Municipal Court. Mr. Diaz was then transported to the Guttenberg Police
Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Diaz was transferred into the
custody of officers from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office.
3. On April 19th, 2024, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to 7000 John F.
Kennedy Boulevard (M Bar and Restaurant) for a report of a theft. During their on-scene investigation, officers arrested
37-year-old Luis E. Osorio-Castillo of Union City, NJ, for theft [2C:20-3A]. Mr. Osorio-Castillo was then transported to the
Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. OsorioCastillo was issued his complaint summons and released from police custody.
4. On April 21st, 2024, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division
arrested 34-year-old Sacarias Guerra-Garcia of Bronx, NY, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Guerra-Garcia was
then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest
processing, Mr. Guerra-Garcia was issued numerous traffic summonses and then released to the custody of a
responsible adult.
The charges above are merely accusations. Every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven
guilty in a court of law.
