
1. On April 25th, 2024, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to our police headquarters for a male who arrived and had an active warrant for his arrest. At that time, officers arrested 38-year-old Gener A. Castillo-Coy of West New York, NJ. During his arrest, officers also discovered that Mr. Castillo-Coy was in possession of a fraudulent Michigan identification card. At police headquarters, Mr. Castillo-Coy was charged with the possession of a false government document [2C:21-2.1]. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Castillo-Coy was issued his complaint summons and then released on his own recognizance.
The charges above are merely accusations. Every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
