Rochelle Park Man Charged With Sexual Assault and Endangerment of a Child

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 45-year-old MILTON GUALLPA-GUAMAN of Rochelle Park, NJ on charges of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Rochelle Park Police Department under the direction of Chief Dean Pinto.

On Wednesday, May 8, 2024, the New Jersey Division of Child Protection & Permanency contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged abuse of a juvenile that occurred in the past. An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Rochelle Park Police Department revealed that MILTON GUALLPA-GUAMAN physically abused a child under the age of 13 in Rochelle Park, NJ. During the course of the investigation, detectives learned of a disclosure made by an additional juvenile alleging sexual assaults that had occurred in the past. Further investigation revealed that GUALLPA-GUAMAN sexually assaulted a juvenile under the age of 13 in Rochelle Park, NJ on numerous occasions.

As a result of the investigation, on Friday, May 10, 2024, MILTON GUALLPA-GUAMAN was arrested in Paramus, NJ and charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault, N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2b; and two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, N.J.S.A. 2C:14-4a, N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a(2). GUALLPA-GUAMAN was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ.

Prosecutor Musella states that the charges are merely accusations, and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. He would like to thank the Rochelle Park Police Department for its assistance in this investigation.
