Hello. This is Mayor Mark Zinna with a Friday news update.

The Board of Health wants you to stay safe as the weather gets warmer. Residents can pick up a free supply of tick repellant in the lobby of the town library (while supplies last).

The Garden Clubs’ Mother’s Day plant sale continues tomorrow, Saturday, May 11th, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Greenhouse at Davis Johnson Park and Oresko Memorial Green. Flowering annuals in pots of varying sizes, hanging planters and flats are available.

Spend time this weekend at Nature Center enjoying your choice of seasonal scavenger hunts, guided walks in honor of that special parent, or a wild edible walk and talk on Saturday and Sunday for adults and families alike. Register at tenaflynaturecenter.org

The Elks Mother’s Day all you can eat brunch is this Sunday from 11 am to 2 pm at the Elks Lodge on Franklin Street. $20 donation for adults, and of course, Mother’s eat for free.

Sign-up for this Sunday’s, May 12th Rubin Run. Celebrating health and wellness for all ages and abilities, the Rubin Run also raises funds to support programs that make the JCC accessible and inclusive to our entire community. Register at www.jccotp.org

The Tenafly Library Friends continues their monthly free Tuesday morning movie series this Tuesday, May 14th at 11am in the library with the 2023 movie, "Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret." A funny, contemplative, and feel-good movie. No registration required.

The JCC and the Lavish: Gallery Edition committee, invites you to an evening of art and philanthropy on Thursday, May 30th at 7 pm at the JCC.
