Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays we are open for Djembe classes from 7:30-8:30pm.
Limited attendees allowed and masks mandatory at all times. Drums are disinfected before and after use.

Conversemos offers people with at least basic knowledge of Spanish an opportunity to be immersed in Spanish language and culture.

Our next movie screening for the Hoboken Public Library's Movie Group Screening will be on Tuesday, May 14 at eleven. We will be watching 'The Book Thief' in honor of Jewish American Heritage Month. Light Refreshments will be served.

Welcome! Join the Korean Novel Book Club led by Crystal Lee, author, and translator. Meet new friends as we read and discuss Korean novels together in Korean. We're excited to have all participants on board! Let's read and discuss together. For 18+.

By the end of the class, you will be able to
* Learn up to 10 new common phrases and expressions in Spanish

We will move to China and look at the art of the Chinese American artist and collector C.C. Wang who was very innovative in blending his heritage with what he learned from Western European art traditions. We will explore the rudimentary techniques of calligraphy and review the methods of creating abstract expressionism to make our own hybrid blend of cross-cultural art.

Ages 2 - 5
Must be a Paramus Resident

We will explore several "biblical" characters who either appear exclusively in midrash (rabbinic stories) or whose existence is mostly fleshed out in the midrash. Characters we will be studying include: Lilith, Naamah (wife of Noah), Batya (daughter of Pharoah), Serach bat Asher (a granddaughter of Jacob), and more.
Bring your own dairy or vegetarian lunch.
