On 05/13/2024 at 3:05 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 33-year-old male, Duwan Gonzalez-Camargo of Union City, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Gonzalez-Camargo was also charged with Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police. Mr. Gonzalez-Camargo was issued his complaint summons along with 12 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 05/13/2024 at 1:22 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 72-year-old female, Margaret Walls of Newark, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)]. Walls was issued her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 05/14/2024 at 8:07 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of an individual tampering with the credit card reader in the electronics section. During the investigation, the police arrested a 25-year-old male, Kristofer Tyon of Bedford, PA for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card [2C:21-6H], Credit Card Theft [2C:21-6C(1)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] by providing false information to the police. Tyon was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Pittsburgh, PA. Mr. Tyon was additionally charged with Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10]. Mr. Tyon was issued his complaint warrant and was pending transport to the Hudson County Jail.

On 05/15/2024 at 8:52 AM, the Secaucus Police arrested a 34-year-old male, Luis Rios of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Rios was arrested at Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road. Clifton did release Mr. Rios on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody.

On 05/15/2024 at 10:43 AM, the Secaucus Police arrested a 41-year-old male, Almustafa Bennett of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $5,000.00. Bennett was arrested at Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road. East Orange did release Mr. Bennett on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody.

On 05/15/2024 at 2:10 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Wallington Police Department to take into custody a 27-year-old male, Jake Kaniszewski of Wallington, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paterson, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Paterson did release Mr. Kaniszewski on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Kaniszewski was able to post bail for the involved warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ and was released from police custody.

05/16/2024 at 5:06 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29-year-old male, Joel German-Castro of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Virginia with no bail along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $500.00. The Union City Police Department did release Mr. German-Castro on his own recognizance pending a future court date. German-Castro was also charged with Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10]. Mr. German-Castro was issued his complaint warrant and was transported to the Hudson County jail.

On 05/16/2024 at 6:06 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old male, Jessy Coradin of Newark, NJ for Tampering with Public Records [2C:28-7A(3)] for concealing his license plate on his vehicle. Coradin was issued his complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On 05/16/2024 at 5:08 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take into custody a 35-year-old male, Zakare Konneh of Neptune, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $2,000.00. Konneh was unable to post bail and he was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 05/17/2024 at 2:27 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office to take into custody a 36-year-old male, Tyreek Jacobs of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ with no bail. Jacobs was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 05/17/2024 at 5:51 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29-year-old male, Hector Villa-Toro of Newark, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Newark, NJ with a bail of $1,000.00 each with 10% option. Villa-Toro was able to post bail, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

On 05/17/2024 at 7:46 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 61-year-old female, Josephine Dimoplon of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Crack Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)]. Dimoplon was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 05/18/2024 at 11:34 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Best Western Plus located at 250 Harmon Meadow Boulevard on a report of an alleged Robbery. During the investigation, the police arrested a 25-year-old male, Shahel Uddin of Paterson, NJ for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(1)] along with a 38-year-old female, Sabrina Jackson of Philadelphia, PA for Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. Both Mr. Uddin along with Ms. Jackson were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On 05/19/2024 at 2:40 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Hudson Regional Hospital on a report of an individual who was refusing to leave. During the investigation, the police arrested a 59-year-old male, Michael Whittington of Bayonne, NJ for Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3B]. Whittington was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
