Millburn Police Case Updates May 29, 2024

On May 18, 2024, Millburn Police Officer Genitempo responded to Sephora in the Short Hills on a report of theft that just occurred. Sephora associates reported that Damarisa Moore, age 20, of Irvington, concealed $231.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting.

On May 18, 2024, Millburn Police Officer Tucker responded to Neiman Marcus in the Short Hills on a report of theft that just occurred. Neiman Marcus associates reported that Mogilevich Yakov, age 65, of Brooklyn NY, concealed $316.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting.

On May 19, 2024, Millburn Police Officer Goldfarb responded to Neiman Marcus in the Short Hills on a report of theft that just occurred. Neiman Marcus associates reported that Abidemi Adekunjo, age 50, of Amsterdam NY, concealed $1780.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting.

On May 19, 2024, Millburn Police Officer Marone responded to Macy's in Short Hills on a report of theft that just occurred. Macy’s associates reported that Amporo Tituana, age 39, of Plainfield, concealed $35.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting.

On May 22, 2024, Millburn Police responded to the Short Hills Mall on a report of a male who refused to leave. The mall was not yet opened to the public. Mall security asked the male, Corey Harrison, age 39, of Irvington to leave the Mall property multiple times but he refused. Millburn Police arrived and asked him to leave. At this time, he was placed under arrest and charged with trespassing.

On May 24, 2023, during overnight hours, Millburn Police responded to 139 Millburn Ave (Anthony Lawrence Jewelers) on an activated commercial burglar alarm. While Officers were conducting a premise check of the business, it revealed that someone had forced entry into the business. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On May 24, 2023, Millburn Police Officer Genitempo responded to Nordstrom's parking deck at the mall at Shot Hills on a report of a burglary to a vehicle. The owner reported that someone entered his Parked vehicle and stole his laptop valued at $1000. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On May 25, 2024, Millburn Police Officer Kelly responded to Neiman Marcus in the Short Hills on a report of theft that just occurred. Neiman Marcus associates reported that Nana Gamble age 54, of West Orange, concealed $480.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting.

On May 26, 2024, Millburn Police responded to a Stewart Rd residence on a report of a burglary to a vehicle. The owner reported that someone entered his unlocked parked vehicle and stole items. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On May 26, 2024, Millburn Police responded to a Hampshire Road residence on a report of a burglary to a vehicle. The owner reported that someone entered her unlocked parked vehicle. Nothing was missing. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On May 27, 2024, Millburn Police took a report of a burglary to a vehicle at a Taylor Rd residence, that occurred a day earlier. The owner reported that someone entered his unlocked parked vehicle. Nothing was missing. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On May 27, 2024, Millburn Police Officer Genitempo responded to Bloomingdales in the Short Hills on a report of theft that just occurred. Bloomingdale's associates reported that Nasi Warren, age 24, of Orange, concealed $581.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting.

On May 28, 2024, Millburn police responded to a burglary of a residence on Pine Street that occurred in the overnight hours. The unknown suspect had gained entry into the residence through an unlocked window. A key fob was stolen. The actor stole the homeowner’s vehicle. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
