Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi announce that at approximately 5:22 a.m. on July 5, 2024, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center to meet with a 33- year-old male from Passaic, New Jersey who suffered from a non-fatal gunshot wound. Members of the Paterson Police Department were able to determine that the shooting took place in the area of Park Avene and East 18th Street.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
