Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi announce that at approximately 7:12 p.m. on August 10, 2024, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Park Avenue and Carroll on a report of a shooting. Paterson Police located a 26-year-old male from Paterson, New Jersey who suffered a non-fatal gunshot wound. The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound. Members of the Paterson Police Department were able to locate a potential crime scene.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
