Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi announce that at approximately 9:33 p.m. on August 10, 2024, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. Upon arrival they met with a juvenile victim from Paterson, New Jersey suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound. Paterson Police were able to determine that a shooting took place in the area of River Street and Lyon Street.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
