Dedication of the Tiger Courtyard and Mural in Tenafly

The Mayor and Borough Council is holding a celebration, dedication, and recognition to mark the formal naming and dedication of the Tiger Courtyard and Mural, 100 Riveredge Road, Tenafly, NJ on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 6:00 PM, following a Special Meeting of the Mayor and Council at 5:30 PM. The Honorable Mark Zinna, Mayor of the Borough of Tenafly will issue proclamations recognizing the artists and volunteers for the Tiger Mural.

The Tiger Mural was designed by the Lead Artist, Dillion Corsair, a Tenafly resident and university student. Dillon scoped and scaled the Tiger Mural free-hand, and Dillon and his team have dedicated numerous hours over several weeks to complete the welcoming addition to Tenafly Borough Hall. The Assistants on the project were integral to completing the Tiger Mural, and included - Catherine Yi of Tenafly Middle School - 8th grade; - Hugh Park of Saint Peter School - 12th grade; - Seon Lee of Bergen County Technical High School - 11th grade; and Adam Emanuel Kishinevskly.

“The Tenafly community has great pride in our students and artists, along with our strong community support for the Tenafly Schools. The Tiger is the mascot for Tenafly High School and the greater school community,” said Mayor Zinna. “I’m honored to have the opportunity to recognize the extraordinary work of Dillon Corsair, Catherine Yi, Hugh Park, Seon Lee, and Adam Emanuel Kishinevskly,” added Mayor Zinna.

“The Tiger Mural will overlook the Tiger Courtyard, which will be enjoyed by our residents, visitors, and borough staff for many years to come. When visiting the library, municipal field, or borough hall, be sure to visit the Tiger Courtyard, and enjoy the Tiger Mural, where picnic tables and benches will be placed,” concluded Mayor Zinna.
