The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit is seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual wanted for questioning in connection with a sexual assault in West New York on Saturday, July 27, 2024.
The 40-year-old female victim reported she encountered an unknown male sometime around 1:30 a.m. in the area of Hudson Avenue and 51st Street. The female reported the male later grabbed her by her hair and then sexually assaulted her.
During the investigation, images were obtained identifying a person of interest. At the time of the assault, the male is described as having worn a light color shirt with the word “Originals” on the front and back, dark jeans, and black and white sneakers. Photos of the person of interest are attached.
This matter is actively being investigated by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the West New York Police Department.
