1. On August 30, 2024, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Police Officers Andrias Bonilla and Anthony Rutkowski responded to the 400 block of Eighth Street on reports of a person who refused to leave an apartment he was not permitted to be inside of due to his level of intoxication and hostility to the other people in the home. The man was identified as 40-year-old Sedrick Aiken of Hoboken. The officers convinced him to leave, but once outside, Aiken began yelling at officers, became hostile, and threatened one of them with violence. Police Officers Nicholas Losurdo and Teddy Santiago arrived to assist. At one point Aiken stood in the middle of the street, and when he was asked to move for safety reasons, he became extremely hostile and threatened to kill one of the officers. He was warned if he made another threat he would be arrested. He did make another threat and was arrested. Lt. Jonathan Butler and Police Officers Aaron Font, Shawn Sodora, David Chicara, and Jonathan Figueroa arrived on scene to assist. During the arrest, Aiken resisted, resulting in one of the officers falling and injuring his back. Aiken was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and charged with making terrorist threats, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. After being processed, he was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
2. On Friday, August 30, 2024, at approximately 11 p.m., Police Officers Harold Milne and Anish Bhisey responded to Basile's Pizza, 89 Washington St, on reports of a disorderly person harassing staff and refusing to leave. When they got there, employees pointed out three people who had skipped the line and were arguing with employees, who say the individuals were trying to get products they didn’t pay for. Two of those people left the store without any issues, but one of them, later identified as 45-year-old Felicia Reilly-Feuchack of Jersey City, became aggressive toward officers and yelled obscenities at employees while reaching over the counter. At one point, as officers were attempting to get her to leave, she stepped toward them and put her hands in one of their faces, which is when she was placed under arrest. She resisted but was eventually placed in handcuffs and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. She was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, processed, and released with a summons and court date.
3. On August 31, 2024, at approximately 11:10 a.m., Police Officers Tyrone Huggins and Joseph Lupo responded to Walgreens, 1300 Willow Ave., on reports of a shoplifting where the actor had already fled the store. On the way, Officer Huggins spotted a man who fit the description of the actor and stopped him on the 1000 block of Monroe Street. He was identified as 32-year-old Justin Reyes of Union City. Police Officers Daniella Simone, Marco Grossman, David Chicara, and Jaydan Gonzalez arrived on the scene to assist. An on-scene investigation revealed Reyes entered the store, placed several items in his backpack, and ran out of the store. Reyes was arrested and a search incident to arrest multiple facial products, worth $126.82. Officers also found a small bottle cap containing a white substance believed to be CDS crack, a piece of burnt Brillo, and two uncapped syringes. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, and it was discovered he had two outstanding warrants. He was charged with shoplifting, possession of CDS, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was processed on a warrant out of North Bergen and one out of Hudson County and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
4. On August 31, 2024, at approximately 2:35 p.m., Police Officers Daniella Simone and Marco Grossman responded to ShopRite, 900 Madison St., on reports of a shoplifting where the actor was in custody of store security. An on-scene investigation revealed the actor, identified as 22-year-old Ahmed Bryant of Hoboken, tried to walk out of the store without paying for multiple packages of sushi and a soda worth $62.07. Bryant was stopped by security officers in the vestibule of the store, tried to run away, and when he was caught again he tried to pry the security guards arms open to get away. Bryant was arrested, charged with robbery, transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, processed, and then transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
5. On September 1, 2024, at approximately 3:45 a.m., Police Officers Frank Lombardo and Shyenna Vega responded to the Watchung Police Department after 24-year-old Nicole Vlasic of Linden was arrested there and found to have an outstanding warrant out of Hoboken for possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released with a new court date.
6. On September 3, 2024, at approximately 11:10 a.m., Police Officer Michael Aviles and Roberto Cuevas responded to ShopRite, 900 Madison St., on reports of a shoplifting, with the actor in custody of store security. Officers learned that 59- year-old Robert Bozeman of New York City was seen trying to leave the store without paying for 28 items worth a total of $263.64 before being stopped by store security. Bozeman was placed under arrest for shoplifting, transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, and processed. He had three open warrants out of Lacey Township. He was issued a summons on the Hoboken shoplifting charge, provided a new court date from Lacey, and released from custody.
7. On September 3, 2024, at approximately 3:40 p.m., Sgt. William Collins and Police Officers John Lawton, Alyssa Rivera, and Jairo De La Cruz responded to Pizza Republic, 406 Washington St., on reports of a theft. An on-scene investigation revealed someone had taken another person's prescription sunglasses. A surveillance photo of the actor allowed officers to identify him as 44-year-old Richard Buonarota of Hoboken and he was spotted by off-duty Detective John Quinones in the area of Second Street and Willow Avenue. Officers found him shortly after that, found the glasses in his possession, and placed him under arrest. Buonarota was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, charged with theft, processed, and released from custody
