September 17th School Referendum: Voting Information and Locations. Registered Tenafly voters can cast ballots by mail or in person. Vote By Mail instructions and deadlines can be found at: tenaflyschools.org/vote (Voter Info tab). In person polls will be open on September 17 from 6 am to 8 pm. Support the Nature Center this Saturday, September 14 at 6:30 pm at Cocktails Under the Stars. Enjoy valet parking, delectable eats and treats from Tenafly's La Promenade, a delicious array of drinks, mingle around a cozy campfire, and dance under the moonlight! Need childcare for the evening? Your kid(s) can enjoy a fun night too at the Nature Center's Kid Party complete with dinner from TPR. Break out your Hiker Chic party attire and add your sparkle to this casually elegant evening supporting a great cause. The Fall season has officially begun for all school sports. Congratulations to Girls Tennis, Boys Soccer, and Girls Soccer who all started their season with opening day wins. Congrats to new Girls Soccer Head Coach Matt Mirabito on his 1st career victory. The Home opener for Varsity Football vs local rival school Northern Valley Demarest is today, Friday at 7 pm. Come celebrate our Tenafly Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2024 on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at noon. Tickets are $95 and can be purchased by contacting the High School Athletic office at 201-816-6645

ACEing Autism, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) grow, develop and benefit from social connections and fitness through affordable tennis programming. We're excited to bring this national program to Tenafly starting September 15, at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades. It will run every Sunday until October 20 (except October 13), from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. If you are interested in signing your child up (ages 5-18) to participate, or if high school students and adults want to volunteer - please email kaplenjcc@aceingautism.org.

On Thursday, November 14th it’s the “Sports Night of Champions” at the JCC, bringing together athletic icons, local legends, and the members of our community to celebrate their impact in the world of sports not only in New Jersey, but around the globe. Since the founding of the Kurtz Family New Jersey Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 2019, the event has also featured the induction ceremony of three classes of prominent leaders and athletic standouts with a connection to the state.
