On 09/09/2024 at 12:12 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Extended Stay Hotel located at 1 Plaza Drive on a report of an individual staying at the hotel who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. During the investigation, the police arrested a 49-year-old male, Pradheeba Siluvai of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Livingston, NJ with no bail. Siluvai also had 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued in relation to the warrant issued out of Livingston, NJ. Officers from the Livingston Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Siluvai for transport back to their authority.

On 09/10/2024 at 4:55 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 23-year-old male, Javion Jemerson of Bloomfield, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Jemerson was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 09/10/2024 at 5:48 PM, Secaucus Police responded to 220 Meadow Lane on a report of a woman who broke a window to an apartment. During the investigation, the police arrested a 50-year-old female, Kelly Wrede, non-domicile, for Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)] and Defiant Trespassing [2C:18-3B]. Wrede was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 09/11/2024 at 4:03 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Royal Motel located at 650 Route 3 West on a report of a possible fight. During the investigation, the police arrested a 49-year-old male, Eduardo Contreras-Silva, non-domicile, for Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(1)] and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D], a broken bottle. Contreras-Silva was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 09/11/2024 at 8:47 PM, Secaucus Police observed a parking violation in the parking lot of 101 Plaza Centre Road. During the investigation, the license plate on the motorcycle was found to be stolen out of New York. The police subsequently arrested a 45-year-old male, Luis Cobo Llaguno of West New York, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. Llaguno was issued his complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On 09/11/2024 at 9:29 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Shell Gas Station located at 300 Route 3 East on a report of an individual sleeping in the driver’s seat of a motor vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 56-year-old male, John Kowalewski of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Kowalewski was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On 09/12/2024 at 11:31 AM, Secaucus Police responded to 200 Riverside Station Boulevard on a report of a missing individual. During the investigation, the police arrested a 35-year-old male, Luis Berroa-Martinez of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ with no bail. Officers from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Berroa-Martinez for transport back to their agency.

On 09/13/2024 at 12:32 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 20-year-old female, Hennessy Diaz-Paulino of Union City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)], Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. The police also arrested a 21-year-old male, Daniel Canelo of Union City, NJ along with a 20-year-old male, Juan Espinoza of Union City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. Diaz-Paulino along with Mr. Canelo and Mr. Espinoza were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On 09/14/2024 at 9:39 PM, Secaucus Police responded to 700 Plaza Drive on a report of a female causing a nuisance. During the investigation, the police arrested a 32-year-old female, Jeonghee Mun, non-domicile, for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Officers from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Ms. Mun for transport back to their authority.
