1. On November 19th, 2024, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol
Division arrested 29-year-old Christian I. Ganay-Guallpa of Guttenberg, NJ, after discovering that he had an active
warrant, issued by the Guttenberg Municipal Court. Mr. Ganay-Guallpa was transported to the Guttenberg Police
Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Ganay-Guallpa was released on
his own recognizance, pending his next court appearance with the Guttenberg Municipal Court.
2. On November 21st, 2024, the West New York Police Department contacted the Guttenberg Police Department,
informing our agency that they had a female in their custody that had an active warrant, issued by the Guttenberg
Municipal Court. Moments later, 42-year-old Diana C. Pineiros-Flores of West New York, NJ, was transported to the
Guttenberg Police Department, where she was placed under arrest. Upon the completion of her arrest processing, Ms.
Pineiros-Flores was released on her own recognizance, pending her next court appearance with the Guttenberg
Municipal Court.
3. On November 22nd, 2024, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to Benny’s
Liquors and Supermarket (7000 Park Avenue), after receiving a report of a shoplifting. Officers were provided a
description of the suspect, who was observed walking near the establishment. During their on-scene investigation,
Officers observed some of the merchandise that was reported stolen in the male’s possession. At that time, Officers
arrested 20-year-old Alexis Colotl-Llorame of Guttenberg, NJ, for shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Mr. Colotl-Llorame was then
transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest
processing, Mr. Colotl-Llorame was issued his complaint summons and then released from police custody.
4. On November 23rd, 2024, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol
Division arrested 49-year-old Hugo A. Avila of Elizabeth, NJ, after discovering that he had two (2) active warrants, issued
by the Union County Sheriff’s Office. Mr. Avila was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest
processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Avila was transferred into the custody of Officers from the
Union County Sheriff’s Office.
5. On November 24th, 2024, while on patrol, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division located and
arrested 55-year-old Carlos E. La Cruz of Guttenberg, NJ, who had an active warrant, issued by the Hudson County
Sheriff’s Office. Mr. La Cruz was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon
the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. La Cruz was transferred into the custody of Officers from the Hudson County
Sheriff’s Office.
The charges above are merely accusations. Every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven
guilty in a court of law.
