Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In- Charge Patrick Murray announce that at approximately 6:48 p.m. on November 29, 2024, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of East 31st Street and 14th Avenue on a report of a shooting. Police learned that two victims, a 19-year-old male victim from Paterson, N.J., and a 20-year-old male victim from Paterson, N.J., were transported via private vehicle to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment for non-fatal gunshot wounds. A potential crime scene was located in the area.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
